Menadione Uses
Currently, it is mainly used as feed additives, fungicides, pharmaceutical intermediates, and various derivatives of β-methanaphthoquinone are used as biocides and mold inhibitors. In agriculture, it is used as a new type of plant growth regulator. It is also known as fat-soluble vitamin K3, due to its poor stability, people often make it into a variety of β-methanaphthoquinone salts, the main products are MSB (sodium bisulfite methanaphthoquinone); MNB (nicotinamide methanaphthoquinone bisulfite).
Vitamin K3 is mainly used in the field of feed additives and Veterinary Medicine.
